 Although this is the first Zone issue, and they make you think that Dai Atlas is right around the corner by using the silhouette, in actuality he doesn’t make his appearance for several issues, nearly halfway through the series! So, Victory Saber gets a temporary reprieve, and doesn’t have to step down until he’s seriously wounded on Planet Feminia. Since a good deal of the Zone merchandise had already been sold in Victory, it may be that there wasn’t a distinct plan for the plot until a little later in the year. It’s rather painfully vague at this point, although there are in general many high-detail sketches by Magami Ban used as caption pics. |
