Take THAT!Say what the detractors will about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and how the economy has gone, but numbers can't lie that both Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg are the top 2 richest folks amongst creative figures of the film industry in 2009. In Bay's case of being number 1: $75 million in "back-end profit participation for directing and producing", $28 million from shared revenue on DVD sales, and $12.5 million from the share of toy and other licensing royalties. Spielberg's number 2 mostly comes from royalties on the Universal-theme parks and consulting fees as well royalties from older films, but he did earn $5 million as executive producer on ROTF.
