Traditionally Hasbro would hire different advertising agencies to provide packaging artwork who then commissioned freelance commercial illustrators to design and provide final art, like S. Daly who painted many of the early Box art graphics from 1984-1986. These pieces were painted using a mixture of gouache, watercolor, and airbrush on thick illustration board. This is one-of-a-kind original on 19" x 19" art board with an image area of approximately 15" x 14".
