The one-week sales numbers are in for Transformers: The Movie on DVD and HD-DVD, and let's just say they're good. Okay, really good. Okay, record-settingly massively colossally awesome. Dreamworks and Paramount issued a press release claiming the 2007 top week one and day one DVD sales (8.3 million and 4.5 million, respectively) and top week one and day one HD-DVD sales (190,000 and 100,000, respectively). ...And all that for a DVD that Michael Bay told USA Today was "not as good as it could've been."
