Hydra’s comments
 Although I understand that they’re not universally popular among collectors, I was excited to see the Micromaster Transports in action here characterized as the 4 commanders of the Microtransformers. Although frankly, I would have thought that Victory Saber could hold his own against these two guys. I can imagine the SOS… “This is Chief Commander Victory Saber! I’m sorely outmatched, and in urgent need of a tiny car carrier, crane, and barge to turn the tide!” Well, at least we actually get a lot of scenes of the Micro TF’s proving their original talents, rather than just the all too common “new character invincibility” syndrome. Also some more background info on the Zone Base, which was not just devised by the Super Car Team, but also constructed by Cragun’s technical division.
Another feature of this TV Magazine issue was the Zone booklet included, which featured 33 pages of manga drawn by Magami Ban that filled in the story between this and next month’s issue, when Dai Atlas assumes command. I’ll be translating the manga next in continuing Zone coverage!
