The good folks of Popbox Collectibles has just dropped us a line about a very cool new product scheduled for release at early October 2007.
We will be producing a limited edition Transformers' All Spark Cube as a paperweight for early October 2007 release.
The cube will be around 1:4 scale at around 7-8cm in size (size like Rubik's cube), made of die-cast metal and will be replica of that in the movie. The edges will be more rounded for safety purposes. Will come in a wooden box or sort of specialty packaging and possibly a small transparent base to stand it up on its corner, to be determined. Suggested retail price is going to be $60.00 US. This will be a LIMITED RELEASE item! Click Here for the full sized images. This thing looks SUPER cool! |

All four of the Takara/Tomy Encore Reissues, Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Starscream and "Yes Virginia" even Megatron are shown as being available online from Walmart.com. Everyone except Starscream (who is priced at $79.88) are $98.72.
They appear to have the same boxes as the regular Encore reissues, including the Japanese text. Walmart acting on their own? Hasbro testing the waters for MP Megatron? Speculate away in darkstream's thread here. News is courtesy of tfw2005 and darkstream. |

Party like it's 1986 because that's the version in question. UK supersite Play.com shows "Transformers: The Ultimate Edition" scheduled for release on Blu-Ray January 10th, 2008 priced at £14.99.
darkstream's thread is a great place to discuss this news (and possibly your disappointment it's not the *other* Transformers movie.) Thanks to darkstream and tfw2005 for the news. |

The recent announcement of Paramount going HD-DVD exclusive apparently didn't sit too well with Mr. Bay and he posted the following on the Shoot For the Edit forums.
“I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having two formats. No Transformers 2 for me! Bay” What does this mean for the future of the Transformers franchise? You can join the discussion already in progress in this thread. Thanks to Buster Darkwings for bringing this to our attention |
