 The Walmart exclusive two-pack of Darth Vader and Obi Wan Kenobi Star Wars Transformers has started hitting shelves. The two figures are redecos of the TIE Advanced and Jedi Starfighter Transformers, with the main difference being that the TIE is now a light gray instead of blue and the Starfighter is now blue instead of red. Pricing for this set is said to be $27.96 each.

 TFW2005 is reporting that the repaint of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe Barricade has been spotted at a Walmart in Syracuse, Utah. Along with Recon Barricade, this wave of Deluxes is also supposed to contain the pick-up truck Decepticon, Dropkick, but none were spotted at the store.

 Chris Ryall, you dog! Editor in Chief Ryall's back from a trip to Hasbro HQ in Providence, RI, and he's got a bit of a tale to tell. One of the things he was able to see was a brand-spanking new animated adaptation of IDW's prequel to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen-- likely the same animated prequel Don Murphy and crew were bandying about all those years ago. The prequel will be a special feature on the Wal-Mart version of the movie's DVD release, which should be out... at some point in time in the future. Additionally, Mister Ryall got the opportunity to watch the Transformers: Animated movie, the 90-minute feature which will kick off the series, and he, like us, is super-excited for it.
