A repaint of the Cybertron Voyager Starscream mold is up on eBay, and is likely to be the "Heroic Decepticon Starscream" from the BotCon 2008 "Shattered Glass" box set. Like Goldbug, Starscream is in a traditional G1 color scheme, but this time, it's someone else's! Starscream's colors are clearly an homage to G1 Jetfire, complete with the bulky parts of his arms and legs painted red to emulate the toy's armor. But the red Decepticon logos almost certainly mark this as the already announced exclusive Starscream, not a mass-release Universe Jetfire.
Check out several pictures of the toy in the original eBay auction. Thanks to TFW2005 for the news. Discuss in lastmaximal's thread.

Academy members vote to select the award winners, and membership is open to the public... so feel free to drop a few bucks and help stack the deck!
The presentation is a long way off, as it won't be held until June 24 in Universal City, California. While you're waiting, don't forget to root for Transformers in its three categories in those other Academy Awards this Sunday! |

Fans of the G1 cat-bird-dinosaur-space shuttle will be happy to hear that the Encore reissue of Sky Lynx was released in Japan yesterday. For trivia buffs, this is the first time that the toy was released in Japan under the "Transformers" brand name! The stuck-up primitive was joined by Black Arcee, Stockade, and the Screen Battles Capture of Bumblebee and Desert Attack. So black motorcycle fans will also be happy!
You can discuss this news here or here. Thanks to Betty Nor and Buster Darkwings for the info! |
