Until now, most of us in the English-speaking world only know anecdotally the monumental extent of the recent G1 cartoon time-line information released by TakaraTomy with some of the KissPlayer merchandise (specifically on the Autorooper X Atari packaging and Kiss Players/Teletraan Go! Go! Collection), which pulls in everything from G1, Beast Wars, KissPlayers, Robot Masters, and more into a single continuity.
It's scary. And now, thanks to Quez, SwiftEagle, and Teletraan-1 (The Transformers Wiki), you too can experience the sheer brilliance/insanity that is the Japanese G1 cartoon continuity. See SwiftEagle's announcement and discuss in our forums here, and then read the actual entry in the TF wiki here. Regardless of how crazy you might think this is, this translation is an awesome read and a great resource. |

Just like they offered a metallic Bumblebee with purchase of tickets to see the Transformers: The Movie, the Japanese chain store Lawson's will seemingly be offering a Real Color Version (Ver. 4500X) of Voyager Blackout with Metallic Version Scorponok with purchase of the DVD! This set will retail at 8990 yen and will be released 12/19.
You can see the listing here and discuss it here on the Allspark. Thanks for TFW2005 for the heads up! |

Allspark Forums member Fortress Ironhold informs us here that his local Toys "R" Us in Texas is running a couple of Transformers specials - a free $5 gift card with a Transformers purchase of $30 or more, and a discounted $24.99 price on the Transformers: The Movie Optimus Prime Voice Changer helmet. The $5/$30 deal is being advertised on Toysrus.com, and the voice changer listing has likewise been updated (seen here).
One deal that all TRU shoppers can take advantage of is located at this listing at ToysRUs.com. Ordering the Prime helmet online will get you a free Real Gear Robot! Check the full details on the special here. |

If you prefer your movie toys a little more on the shiny side, this news is for you. The Best Buy exclusive metallic Ratchet and Megatron Voyager-class figures are out a few days ahead of the Tuesday release of Transformers: The Movie on DVD, as reported here by TFormers and here by Nevermore. And the Allspark already has its first sighting report for these two, out of Fairfax, Virginia.
Have you seen these shiny robots? Drop a lead in this thread at the Allspark's New Toy Sightings forum! |

Though you'll still have to wait until Tuesday for the transforming DVD case; Target has posted their exclusive comic on their website.
You can check it out here and discuss the canon headaches it creates in Nevermore's thread.
