E Online's Caroline Kepnes had a very brief encounter with Transformers: The Movie Director Michael Bay after the Hollywood Film Festival's Hollywood Awards. She asked him a few questions about Transformers 2, Shia LaBeouf and the DVD advertising. Not much was revealed other than what he has told the writers; "Remember the heart and magic. It's not about being bigger."
You can see this interview here, and discuss it here on the Allspark. Thanks to Daggor for the E Online link. |

Still confused as to what the Transformers: The Movie Trans-Scanning figures from TakataTomy are? Tformers.com now provides a scan from the latest Dengeki Hobby magazine that shows some concept art for the Bumblebee figure. Essentially, the figure starts out as a Protoform in entry mode, then you snap on accompanying armor for the robot that simulates the post-scan body!
You can see the scan from the hobby magazine here at Tformers.com.

Simon Fuman has updated his blog talking about IDW's Transformers: Devastation #2. He touches briefly on a few of the comic's plot points and the characters surrounding those occurrences. Don't expect to have the second issue pick up where the first issue's spectacular cliffhanger left off. You may have to wait a few pages for that! Also, for UK fans, Simon Furman will be at the Forbidden Planet in London this Thursday for autographs.
You can read the post on Simon Furman's blog here, and don't forget you can read preview pages for Devastation #2 here. |

Artist Alex Milne has posted his alternate cover for the upcoming IDW Transformers Spotlight: Blaster, now with full colors by Josh Perez! The cover depicts Blaster and his cassette minions (including those infamous Japanese-exclusive dinosaur combiners) doing what they do best: rocking out, and rocking out hard. The comic is due in January 2008.
Visit Alex Milne's DeviantArt page for the full image. Thanks to TFW2005 for the news. |
