 DISCUSS! Double dose of big news tonight! Actor Jeffery Combs has announced on his webpage that he will be voicing Ratchet in the next TF series. Of far bigger news is the name of that new series, Transformers: Prime! The show will air on the new Hasbro Discovery Network during the Fall, and has 26 episodes scheduled for this first season.  Praise him! Jinxm of HK-TF.com has posted a gallery for the WonderFestival exclusive Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Burning Fallen figure. While this figure uses the same color distribution as the Hasbro version, it has one important difference: it uses translucent plastic to make the orange look as though it's glowing! Yes, director Michael Bay has said that he's not keen on 3D in earlier reports. However, Variety mentions a possibility for TF3 being done in that format.
Bay's next project is "Transformers 3," and there have been discussions among Bay, Paramount and Industrial Light & Magic about going 3D with the pic. The big stumbling block is the extra time required to do production and visual effects in 3D, as the movie's release date is already set. Having the pic post-converted could alleviate that problem.
