Can I keep him? Cheetimus has just sent in some Tweets clarifying the Power Core Combiner gimmicks:

  • Powercore combiner limbs are attached as vehicles and automatically convert into a limb when attached
  • Limbs DO NOT have robot modes or names
  • Packaging lists them as drones
  • Powerlinx ports aren't in scale to armada ports.
  • Arms are always arms. Legs are always legs.
  • WfC BB is the same height as WfC Prime
  • Conversion levels go up to 5 instead of 4 now. WfC figures are 4s.

Toy Fair Report Part 3 PDF Print E-mail

Zeta Prime? Cheetimus has sent us a bit of a summary for the War For Cybertron demo that they showed:

This game is graphically amazing! Huge scale, incredible detail. And yes, we were shown live gameplay
Voice acting throughout, though I felt cullen was the weakest... oddly enough.
Gameplay was decent hack and slash and cool looking flight modes. Saw a boss battle were the player was megs vs omega supreme
The characters are very accurate, speach patterns on point. Fans will dig this game
Prime is shown after the death of "zeta prime" and he takes command
You can play with friends and they can jump in or drop out at any time
Damage is shown kinda like first person shooter these days. The screen gets staticy and. Out of focus as damage is accrued
It was awesome hearing Omega act like himself as well as Soundwave advising megs in battle

Whooo! Power Cores! While we have a brief break, here's another recap of Cheetimus' Tweets from Toy Fair 2010!
  1. Power core combiners now...
5 pack bruticus. Blastoff is a missile launcher. Vortex is... a tank? Not certain on names
As in the names weren't presented
Scout figure from two packs can replace 5 pack torso
    Leadfoot with pinpoint
Not called bruticus... Bombshock. Still combaticons
    Aerialbots ... Skyburst
    Race car team and constructicons
Race cars looked to be autobots, not stunticons

  2. MP grimlock looks like initial release but with the crown. Added toyetic details like sticker kinda stuff
  3. Comcicon exclusive... steeljaw, ramhorn and eject... oh, and they come with Blaster
