If you loved the Transformers in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, or are a budding CGI artist, you may want to listen to the words of Dan Taylor, animation supervisor for Digital Domain. This is the animation shop that worked on such scenes as Alice revealing "her" true nature, Soundwave integrating with the satellite, and the Reedman nano-marbles. Taylor talks about the challenges of animating the Transformers (with things like compromise between human and robotic), how DD accomplished Alice's face-peeling scene, the animation process in general, the creativity they brought to the scenes mentioned, and much more!

TFW2005 has translated the interview with Shougo Hasui that was printed in Figure Oh #144. Thanks to the translation, we now know what Hasbro's level of involvement with the designs were, and it was apparently far greater than ever before!
