e-Hobby Alternity Ultra Magnus Comic Preview!

e-Hobby Exclusive Continuing the trend with other recent e-Hobby Exclusive Figures MP-01B Convoy Black and MP-03G Ghost Starscream, Alternity A-01U Ultra Magnus will come with his own exclusive comic book. Like the other exclusives this comic is likely only available with the Japanese e-Hobby release and not with the general Asian release. Ultra Magnus (Brilliant White Pearl) is of course a white, gray, and teal redeco of the Nissan GT-R Alternity A-01 Convoy. Ultra Magnus is set to be released some time this month. Mounting since '86! Generations Darkmount has just been released in Malaysia, and Allspark member Meister79 has stopped by to share some photos of the Decepticon tyrant! These images give us a good impression of the detail of the figure and it's size compared to Generations Optimus Prime and Device Label Blaster. You can view the images on our forums. Double the dosage of toy news! First up, Toys 'R' Us exclusives Animated Deluxes Rodimus Minor and Cybertron-mode Ironhide has been spotted at a TRU in Burbank, California, by TFW's Marvin16z. Second are photos of Terradive, Axor, and Electrostatic Jolt spotted at Chinese auction site Taobao, plus KO Toys for more Terradive.

As Transformers 3 keeps plowing through Chicago, Milwaukee won't be seeing any cameras, lights, or action. Courtesy of the Journal Sentinel Online:

Under the new plan, the big budget sci-fi film "Transformers 3" will not return to Milwaukee, according to Visit Milwaukee spokesman Dave Fantle.

According to a location scout for the film, changes in the film's "production schedule have made returning to Milwaukee for this scene impractical."

If you've been holding off on Power Core Combiners, Toys R Us will soon be offering a deal that you quite possibly won't be able to refuse! Thanks to an eBay auction, it has now been revealed that the retail chain will be stocking Power Core Combiner Value Packs featuring a 5-pack of Combiners with a bonus 2-Pack of Commander plus Minicon! Right now the only combination known is the Aerialbots with Searchlight and Backwind, but there's a good chance that there will at least be one other Value Pack combination!

Lights on?

Alfes2010 has updated with photos of Takara's Animated Ultra Magnus toy! From vehicle mode, the card that is packaged with the figure, to robot mode, as well the lights when you press his Autobot symbol! Alfes also has a bit of fun using the Headmaster unit, until Masterson winds up under the business end of the Magnus Hammer.
