From one of the scribes of "The AllSpark Almanac", Jim Sorenson updates his blog with the modelsheets for the Destron Headmasters Junior weapons from "Masterforce"! All three are in their alt-mode and showing they're quite literally armed to the teeth (well, Wilder holds his gun while in alt-mode), opposite to the Cybertron Headmaster Juniors.
Hop on over to Jim's blog!

GenZhao of KOToys has posted a new gallery for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Scout Class Scattorshot. This diminutive strong-man seemingly takes cues from both Cybertron Scattorshot and Animated Sentinel Prime. Interesting combination? You betcha!
Click here to see detailed images of the little ruffian, and then discuss the figure here. Thanks to BassX0 for the link!

Several updates have been posted in the Members Only forums on the Transformers Collectors' Club site.
On the Club side of things, the sketches for Punch/Counterpunch's head have recently been delivered to the sculptor. The second exclusive is still being nailed down; the Club has been through 3 suggestions. They are still waiting for word back/approval on the last one that they submitted. They will try to get the two Club exclusives and the Club incentive figure produced at the same time, and before they have the Botcon figures made. The incentive figure will be revealed November/December. As for Botcon, the 2010 Convention set was approved yesterday. So now they can move forward with those figures. Also, they are currently working on the code for online registration for Botcon. However, they do not currently expect that it will be available when the 2010 registration opens. So there you have it; the latest Club/Botcon news! For members wanting to check out Brian Savage's original post, head on over to the TCC homepage here!

Million Hero Publishing, the publishers of the Transformers Generation 2009 books, updated their website today with new images of the upcoming G1 Skids and Screech figures. These figures borrow color schemes from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Skids & Mudflap. Of note is these figures will indeed come with the mini-scooters originally packed with the Diaclone version of the Honda City figure (pre-Transformers Skids) and e-Hobby Crosscut. One last final bit, is Screech now features a gray head rather than the rust color previously seen due to the mold break down for the figure, and both feature gray legs instead of the previously seen black.
You can discuss the news in our forums and view the images here. |

Easily the most anticipated new toy for the tail end of the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen line, more and more is being revealed about the elusive Leader-Class Starscream figure! Yizhi of TF08 sent TFW's S250 an image of the back of Leader Starscream's box! It shows off some of the toys new features, including arms that Transform into his movie guns, pop out weapons, electronic speech, and jet engine noises, among others! And frankly, he looks awesome. Check it out at TFW, and then discuss it on our boards! Also be aware that the special features of the ROTF Walmart Disk include a look at a prototype of this figure, so if you're grabbing it, be sure to check that out! |

Alongside Bumblebee at West Hollywood Gateway Shopping Center on the corner of La Brea Avenue and Santa Monica Blvd in, where else, West Hollywood, radio station KROQ 106.7 FM was there with Target and Best Buy on promoting the DVD and Blu-Ray release of "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen"! Best Buy kept their doors opened later than usual and began selling copies of "Revenge" around 10PM, their exclusive being the mini-replica of Optimus' head at $49.99 USD. Target followed suit with their midnight sale, the transforming Bumblebee case as their exclusive - as a just-in-case, the PS3 game is on sale at $29.99 while the DS versions at $25 for a limited time. Of note on Bumblebee is that this is a different model from the one that was previously displayed at the shopping center back in 2007 and seen at both films' premieres during the Los Angeles Film Festival (being that that model was auctioned off earlier).
For those living/visiting in or around West Hollywood, better snag those photos with Bumblebee fast, because he'll be gone after October 20! Check out the photo gallery here! |

With Transformers: Animated and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen behind us, the question on every Transfan's mind is 'What's Next'? We know a movie is coming in 2011, but what will fill 2010? And expansion of ROTF? Or a new show? Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner hinted during a conference call that Transformers - along with G. I. Joe and My Little Pony - may be returning to television next year! This would make perfect sense considering the news of the Hasbro/Discovery TV Network. Most exciting was that Goldner revealed that further details will be released on November 5th, during the Hasbro Investor Day event at Hasbro HQ in Rhode Island. He also again confirmed that TF3 is gearing up for a release date on 7/1/2011, and that G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is also looking towards a sequel. You can read more about hints for the future of Hasbro's Brands, including Star Wars and more, at Entertainment News International! |
