Written by MrBlud
Sunday, 02 December 2007

Animated BiosAllsparker Stackups immy asked for Bio scans from the current seller of Animated Bumblebee on Ebay and the seller was nice enough to oblige. What would Autobot Ratchet call Bumblebee? Why exactly does Lockdown wear the Decepticon badge?

Check out Stackup’s thread here on the Allspark and all will be revealed.

Written by Onyx Minor
Saturday, 01 December 2007
ImageIt certainly looks that way. Allsparker Caboose has pointed us to this auction at Taobao.com with what appears to be a green High Score 100, now done as a Decepticon called Twitcher F451.  Hopefully we will get a chance to see if more unknown repaints are on the way.  Check out the auction, then go here to the thread Caboose started to discuss.

Saturday, 01 December 2007

Image It may be a long time before we can start hunting for him, but at least we now know what to look for.  Seller tfctoy currently has up for auction a packaged sample of Transformers Animated Bumblebee!  You can store all the pictures of Bumblebee, much like a squirrel stores nuts for the long cold Transformers Animated-less winter, here at the online auction.

Thanks to TFW2005.com for the news.  You can discuss the news in Bass X10's thread.

Transformers Nominated For Satellite Awards
Written by ChessPieceFace
Saturday, 01 December 2007

Transformers Award If you ask any kid alive during the last 12 years what he or she most looks forward to every December, chances are you'll hear, "The annual Satellite Awards, presented by the International Press Academy in recognition of achievement in film, television, DVD, and new media!" This year, just like every year, families will gather 'round the fire with a heaping helping of turkey and mashed potatoes and try and find a website or news broadcast that lists most of the winners, because just like every year, the ceremony won't be televised.

On December 16th, there's a good chance that one or two of these highly coveted awards will be bestowed upon Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, as it's nominated in the categories of Best Visual Effects (for effects supervisor Scott Farrar) and Best Youth DVD (for the two-disc Special Edition). Visit the International Press Academy web site for more information on the awards, or Variety for the list of nominees.

BBTS Update 11/30

We've received the latest update from Allspark sponsor BigBadToyStore!  Check out the latest Transformers related items below, or click "read more" to view the entire newsletter.

Preorders

TRANSFORMERS REVOLTECH - STARSCREAM & RODIMUS: News of these figures just came in and preorders have been listed at $24.99 each. We don't have any good images yet, but expect these to be similar to the Prime and Megatron already released - ultra poseability and nice detail.

TRANSFORMERS E-HOBBY BLACK IRONHIDE EXCLUSIVE: E-Hobby returns with more low-run repaint exclusives. The E-hobby releases always seem to be hard to find after the initial supply runs out, so be sure to secure yours now at $69.99.

TRANSFORMERS - AUTOBOT MATRIX STATUE: We've found a supply of both the orignal Matrix statue at $159.99, and also a new repainted version limited to only 300 pieces for $174.99. These have been highly popular so don't miss out on them again.

TRANSFORMER MOVIE DELUXE - OVERCAST & JUNGLE CRUSHER: Two new repaints for the 2008 line of TF Movie items. They are short-packed in the case of course, so pricing is $15.99 and $17.99 respectively, or grab an entire case of 8 for $89.99 - the case contains a nice selection of currently unreleased items as well as these brand new figures.

New Arrivals

STAR WARS TRANSFORMERS: We've restocked the very popular Darth Vader Death Star, and also received a shipment of the brand new Commander Cody, Luke Snowspeeder, and AT-AT figures. These are available as sets, cases, and singles here.

TRANSFORMERS MOVIE DELUXE: We've received a nice batch of TF Deluxe cases and have restocked our listings for Arcee, Brawl, Barricade, Jazz, Final Battle Jazz, Scorponok, Dropkick, Payload and Longarm.

UNICRON.COM TF ACCESSORIES: We've just restocked the Unicron Stands and Golden Disk accessory packs. The good folks at Unicron.com tell us they are just about out of both sets so this may be our last shipment!

Classics Cliffjumper Conversion Kit Do you love your Classics Cliffjumper, but feel his giant jagged silver stripes just aren't ostentatious enough? Well, now you can pimp him out proper-like, with a limited-edition conversion kit. An auction has appeared on TaoBao.com for one of the sets, which includes new car body parts, a new head with three different faces, a laser gun, and one big honkin' laser bazooka. The kit requires some assembly, and will be available in January in an edition of just 300 pieces.

Credit goes to TFW2005 for finding the auction listing. Visit TaoBao for the full auction (with multiple photos and translated text), and discuss in Suspsy's thread.

Revoltech Starscream, (Hot) Rodimus
Written by NightViper
Friday, 30 November 2007

Revoltech Starscream and Hot Rodimus First Prime, then Ultra Magnus...and then Megatron of course. It looks like Revoltech will venture into the Transformers universe another time to bring us figures of Starscream and (Hot) Rodimus! The pair were on display at a recent Revoltech Expo in Japan, but so far there's been no other information on them.

You can see an image of them here (they're a bit small in the image though). Thanks to TFW2005 for the link. And you can discuss the figures here in Powered Convoy's thread.

Movie Colored G1 Ratchet Reissue
Written by NightViper
Friday, 30 November 2007

Green with envy Buy a book, get a Transformers toy (or possibly two)! Following the news of the eHobby black Ironhide is news of a mail away green Ratchet. This color scheme is meant to homage the color scheme that Ratchet had in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen! When you buy a certain book in Japan, you get a form on the back of that book good for up to two Ratchet figures. Unfortunately, this means that the offer is only good for those residing in Japan.

You can see images of the green Ratchet here! Thanks to TFW2005 for the link. And don't forget to discuss this news here

Lucky Draw Big Convoy at TF@TMWhile not "news" per se, it is hard to pass by something as compelling as a gallery of the much-coveted golden Lucky Draw Beast Wars Neo Big Convoy.  Moonbug from Transformers at the Moon stopped by our forums to let us know that they have a full gallery of the big shiny lug and he's, well, shiny.  And golden.
