Written by NightViper
Friday, 11 January 2008

Image IDW Publishing Editor-in-Chief Chris Ryall has posted a list of release dates for Transformers comic book titles coming out to store shelves in the next few weeks. These dates aren't set in stone, and still may fluctuate, but at least it give a good estimate of what to expect when.

  • January 16: TF Animated Digest, Vol. 1; TF: Devastation #4
  • January 23: TF: Target 2006 TPB; TF Spotlight: Blaster
  • February 6: TF: Devastation #5; TF Beast Wars Sourcebook #4
  • February 13: TF Beast Wars: The Ascending TPB; TF Animated Digest, Vol. 2

He's also reported that the TF Classic book, TF Spotlight Vol. 2 TPB, and Spotlight: Arcee have all been approved and are being sent out to print. Also, Transformers: Devastation #6 is scheduled to be printed next week, but none of these have an in-store date yet.

Transformers: The Game Gets Cheaper, Easier
Written by ChessPieceFace
Friday, 11 January 2008

Transformers: The GameHey everybody, remember that video game that came out last year about that one movie with all the giant robots? Well, if you weren't one of the people who ran out and bought Transformers: The Game right away and played through it the weekend before Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen came out, there's two bits of good news for you.

First, all versions of the game have undergone a significant official price drop. Most stores should now be selling the 360/PS3/Wii/PSP versions for $29.99, and the DS/PS2 editions for $19.99. Used games will naturally be even cheaper. Check out the listings at Gamestop, Best Buy and Amazon.

Additionally, with all that money you saved on the game, you can afford to drop a little cash on something that takes all the challenge out of it! Xbox 360 owners can purchase "Transformers Unlockables" from Xbox Live, which unlocks all of the extra bonus content and upgrades in the game. The cheat is available for 500 Microsoft points, which translates to about $6.25. After all, actually playing a game to beat it is for suckers.

The full size prop constructed for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen stood in the middle of the floor at the expo. He shook hands, posed for pictures, but wouldn't say a word about his involvement in Transformers 2!

You can check out an image of Bumblebee at the show here, thanks to Pigbag for pointing it out!
