Likely, this would be released under the Universe 2.0 banner, and Cybertron Philippines beleives it will be released there by December 08. You can check out the pictures over at Cybertron Philippines, here.
*Update* Cybertron Philippines has been asked to take the images down. You can however, still discuss and read descriptions of the toys here in Stackups Immy's thread on the Allspark |

We all know that Takara has been known to make odd choices in the color schemes for their limited run and prize figures. We've seen chrome, gold chrome, black, clear, bright colors, dull colors and everything in between. Now a few auctions have popped up for some extremely rare prize figures, and prototypes for prize figures that you may not have even heard about! The first is a group of Minicars cast mostly in clear, translucent plastic. According to the auction these were a lunch time special prize Takara ran for its employees. Next is a chrome silver Soundwave figure of a similar origin. And lastly, there's an auction for a cancelled Lucky Draw black Rodimus Prime, who oddly also picks up a bright, almost fluorescent yellow as the secondary color!
You can see the auctions for the Minicars here, the chrome Soundwave's auction here, and the Rodimus images here. You can also click here to see them mirrored in our Gallery! |

This time, nothing quite spoilery. If you're not sick from all the set pictures from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen yet, Megan-Fox.net has a gallery of the actors -- Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox and Ramon Rodriguez -- with some of the crew members, including director Michael Bay. Other than several photos of them relaxing and/or conversing, Shia seems to have tried entertaining Megan with a little sock puppetry.

While we won't post them here as they are potential spoilers, new set images have come out that show off one of the human characters in full make-up. The make-up would indicate that the sequel isn't going to teddy bears and lollipops, and especially not for this character! Check out the images to see just what we mean!
Click here for the images and here to discuss them. Spoilers abound in both links, so don't click them unless you don't mind seeing some spoilerific images! |

In a bit of unexpected news, it looks like the 2007 Transformers Movie Toy Line is still staying alive with the release of some recolors of Voyagers Megatron and Optimus Prime. Megatron now features his molded Ice in a Flame deco and his silver is now goldish tan, and Optimus Prime trades his silver in for a goldish tan as well. Along with these two figures Bonecrusher and Final Battle Jazz were shown, leading most to believe that these are exclusive 2 packs.
You can view the images here and discuss them in Nevermore's thread. |

Once again, airmen (and women) at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, are showing up in answer to what is more than likely the casting call for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, as parts of the film will be shot there. Maryellen Aviano, extras casting coordinator for DreamWorks Pictures, said that over 200 people will be hired as extras to act as military members. Holloman AFB served as a major shooting spot between May and June 2006, as well used in the "Blackout attack" sequence at the beginning of 2007's Transformers.

A few interesting eBay auction have popped up today. They're for three repaints from Energon and Armada that the seller says are destined for the Universe line! The Energon mold is the Blackout/Stormcloud helicopter limb from Bruticus Maximus, and the Armada mold is the Supercon Optimus Prime (with the Cyber Key from Cybertron replacing his Minicon)! The Helicopter mold is used to make Whirl and Sandstorm, and the Optimus mold sports a G1 color scheme. So Wreckers fans have something to look forward to, even if Whirl and Sandstorm are now Decepticons!
Click here for Whirl's auction, here for Sandstorm's and here for Optimus', or click here to see the images mirrored in our gallery. Then click here to discuss them in Razorsaw's thread! |
