Does Optimus Make You Fly? Information about an exclusive Elite Guard version of Optimus Prime from Takara Tomy is just starting to come out. This figure will be available for purchase to anyone that orders the upcoming Animated Encyclopedia book in Japan. Similar to how Henkei Electro Disruptor Mirage, Ghost Starscream, Skids and Screech, and Emergency Green Ratchet were made available.
No images of the toy itself have been revealed, but a silhouette teaser seems to show that it will be the Voyager Optimus Prime mold with Wingblade accessories! Click here to see more about the campaign and/or discuss the figure! Credits: Type-R of TFW2005

*SCHWING* For those wondering about Takara's take on Animated Blurr and a in-case on Optimus Black Version, Alfes2010 has come through with photos of both figures! On Blurr, his Takara self uses a lighter blue compared to his Hasbro counterpart on part of the hood, his crest, and arms. The Sega card P-015 featuring a character model of the Autobot speedster is included as well. On Optimus, there were three cards that features three Optimuses (Optimii?) from G1, Movie, and, of course, Animated, with their respective Autobot symbols done in each series' styles. A pamphlet covering over the years of the Autobot leaders (and lines like Alternity, Nike, and Device Label) alongside a timeline.
Take a gander at Blurr here and then here for Optimus Black Version! |

Rubble, pictures, retirement? If you can consider photos by Jeff at Pixel Rally featuring Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeuf) with something of an upgrade as a visual spoiler. Alongside videos of Transformers 3 filming, one by Colin Hinkle shows some action. In addition, the Post-Tribune has this tidbit where Tyrese Gibson's character is "Retired Major Sergeant Ray Epps" while filming in Gary, Indiana. Take that what you will.
Read the Post-Tribune's article here; head to here, here, and here at TF LAM for the videos and pictures; and don't forget to sound off at our movie forum! Also, head to Apple iTunes to pick up Nefarious #5 for your iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad! |

Peekaboo! GenZhao of KOToys has done it again, this time he's received some advance copies of Generations Blurr. Blurr is a retool of Generations Drift, featuring a new head sculpt, weapons, and rear air wing. Blurr's appearance is based on his IDW G1 Earth bound appearance rather than his traditional Cybertronian G1 Cartoon appearance.
You can view the pictures at KOToys and discuss them on our forums. |

Holy- NO WAI. Take these Transformers 3 tidbits with the usual grain of salt. Glenn Morshower, who played Colonel Sharp in the first film and then later General Morshower in Revenge of the Fallen, looks to be showing up again for the third time, according to his website.
Second on the rumor mill is that a post at Strictly Fitted reveals that actor Lester Speight (Gears of Wars), playing one of the soldiers, has slipped out the fate of one Transformer during filming at Chicago. Head to Morshower's site to see and to SF's post here. Don't forget to sound off at our movie forum. |
