TF Sale at Meijer's Midwestern fans head on out to your Meijer's! That store chain will be holding a sale on Transformers until March 22nd--what that sale is is a little bit of a question. The ad for it says that it is a Buy 1 Get 1 of equal or lesser value 50% off, however, Allspark member Jesse (M P) says that at his store it was Buy 1 Get 1. No 50% off, just get one.

So if there are any Transformers you've been holding out on, now may be your chance! You can discuss the sale in Jesse (M P)'s thread here, and see the ad online here.

ImageYesterday, while checking out the videogames at TRU, I happened to come across something that made me do a doubletake.  On one of the shelves, wrapped in a security device, was a MISB Encore Soundwave.  Underneath it had it's own tag on the shelf, stating a price of $89.99.  There was only one, so this very well could be an isolated incident where someone has returned a toy purchased online.  Don't expect to find something like this, but if you have, let us know.

All Hail Megatron Press Release From IDW PDF Print E-mail

All Hail MegatronIDW Publishing has sent us a press release about the upcoming "All Hail Megatron" Transformers comic maxi-series. The release confirms the series is set after the previous Devastation arc, "one year later" to be exact. We're sure that was a completely arbitrary choice. In this future, the Decepticons have "dispatched" Optimus Prime and the Autobots, leaving nothing between them and domination of Earth. IDW promises a tale of "unrelenting evil," "destruction on a grand scale," and that the whole thing will "knock the fans' socks off." The whopping 12-part "maxi-series" begins in July 2008, with a script by Shane McCarthy and art by Guido Guidi. The first issue will ship with variant covers by Klaus Scherwinski and Trevor Hutchison.

Check out the full press release, cover images and discussion in this thread.

Transformers Animated Toys To Be Listed on HTS Next Week PDF Print E-mail

HTS to List Animated Toys Next Week! The Spring edition of the Hasbro Toy Store catalog is starting to hit mailboxes, and fans that receive a copy are greeted with a slightly confounding sight...The first wave of Transformers Animated are listed as though they were for sale! Of course they're not, but that didn't stop fans from calling to find out what was up with the advertisement. The receptionists on the other end had something interesting to say: the figures will be listed on the HTS website next week, March 25th! It should be noted, however, that HTS has taken to listing toys as "In-Stock", yet on the information page it says that the toy will not ship until a specified date, which is sometimes a couple months away. So although Animated will be listed next week, they most likely won't ship until June, when they are scheduled to arrive at brick and mortar stores. Still, fans looking to pre-order the first wave may want to jump on this chance, and get them for around retail price!

You can get the entire report from TFW2005 right here!
