Scifi Wire has posted a brief interview with Alex Kutrzman and Robert Orci. In it, they reveal that although the sequel will have bigger explosions, it will really be more about character. Similar to such great sequels as Empire Strikes Back and Aliens they wanted to raise the emotional stakes, and they wanted to bring the Transformers characters alive some more.
You can read the full interview, and some banter about a Transformers court room drama, here! |

For those of you eagerly awaiting your Sideswipe, Silverstreak or Ironhide fix, you may want to keep an eye on Walmart.com. The website has listed the three as "Out of Stock Online" which actually means that they don't have them in stock yet, but should be expecting them soon! And the kicker? They're included in the Roll Back that dropped Universe and Movie Deluxes to $7.77! Although, there's no guarantee that the Roll Back will last until they're stocked, and the whole thing could end up as one big tease.
Click here to check out the order pages on Walmart.com! And try not to laugh at Sideswipe's shoulders.

An anonymous source over at Unicron.com has tidbits for Season 3 of Transformers Animated that is best recommended to be considered as spoilerish rumors for the time being unless actual confirmation comes in. Best taken with a grain of salt, in other words. Head writer Marty Isenberg has said at SDCC 2008 that the hopeful date for Season 3 is Spring 2009. As for the "information": certain characters may make a return, one might be introduced, and several more maybes.

We've seen him in both modes, we've seen the front side of his box's art. Now, we finally get a clear image of the back, which has this cowardly Seeker's bio. Certainly not quite the old school G1 black-and-purple Decepticon fighter jet we knew. At least he still teleports!

Since his car accident crash at the corner of La Brea and Fountain in Hollywood back at the end of July, Shia LaBeouf finally talks, with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood. According to the young actor, his hand is still in the splint until filming for Revenge is done, to which there will be further surgery. On director Michael Bay and production:
"[Bay] plows through. I think we had a day down, two days down, and then we got back to some second unit stuff that we had to get anyways, and I was back two or three weeks before anybody projected me coming back.”
