Voice actor legend Peter Cullen is back to work as Optimus Prime for Revenge, according to MTV Movie Blog. So far, Michael Bay has brought him in for some of the animation before they'll "get into the main stuff more towards the end of the fall…November, perhaps.” While again he remains off-camera, he'll have a home when the animators synchronize Optimus' mouth with his - “they focus a camera on my mouth. It’s like ‘Oh my God, they’re looking into my mouth!’ It’s like going to the dentist.”

For those of you that collect packaging variants, or are just looking for the best value, be sure to check out your local Toys R Us for the Animated Leader Bulkhead with Bonus Activator Bumblebee. The set has been spotted in a California store, so it's only a matter of time before you can get your hands one one! The Leader Megatron with Activators Sctarscream was no where to be found, so it's unknown if it's shipping with Bulkhead or not.

Transformers Animated lead character designer Derrick J. Wyatt has answered to some comments posted on his blog after showing the early artwork of Prowl. Regarding Prowl's sidecar, "The side car is coming! It looks totally perfect too. Hasbro and Takara did a fantastic job on that one." Season 3 hasn't been fully announced is still quite a ways off and regarding on Beachcomber, "I worked on Beachcomber's design with designer Irineo Maramba. He was going to be a total hippy slacker type. Unfortunately his speaking part in the early part of season 3 got cut for time. So, at this point, we don't know if he will even be in season 3 or not."
You can read the various comments and his answers at his blog here. |
