The latest issue of Hobby Japan has a silhouette image that may interest Transformers and Disney fans alike! The silhouette seems to show a Mickey Mouse-esque robot, and in the article next to the image is a logo that appears to be an amalgam of G1, G2 Aubtobot symbols and Mickey Mouse's face! So is the world's favorite animated mouse going to get the Transformers treatment?
Click here to see the image on the 2005 Boards, and then click here to discuss it in BassX10's thread on the Allspark. |

Two interesting packaged figures have appeared in a post at ACToys.net. The figures are the Optimus Prime and Megatron from the Classics Ultimate Battle two-pack, but individually packaged in mostly mono-chromatic boxes under the name "Transformers Universe Special Edition" and repainted to better match their G1 counterparts. Perhaps more interesting than these two, however, are the cross sales for a Drag Strip repaint of Classics Mirage, and an Overkill repaint of Grimlock! So just what are these toys? And if the logos on the back lend credence to them being official product, then how and where will they be released? It looks like we'll just have to wait to find out!

Filming at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, is wrapping up in its final phases near the end of September according to Alamogordo Daily News. The remainder of production is expected to wrap up by Halloween, said publicist Gabrela Gutentag.
Adding to the surreality of Shia getting injured and Michael's apartment being broken into, a special effects technician wound up with second to third-degree burns to his right hand and thigh. The tech had been wanting to add fuel to a SFX fire but accidentally grabbed the container holding gasoline, instead of diesel, although on-set medics were able to treat him before he was taken to the hospital. Check here for the Alamogordo article and here from TMZ on the SFX tech's injuries.
