Music artist Stan Bush, who contributed several songs to "Transformers: The Movie" that was released in 1986, has actually contacted Activision and Harmonix on trying to get "The Touch" into one of the two games. Kotaku's Mike Fahey contacted Bush and got this in reply:
Hey Michael, Yes, it would be wonderful to get "The Touch" in either one of those games. I've written to Activision, but wasn't able to get anywhere on it. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks, Stan

For those of you that have bought the Hasbro version of Universe Onslaught probably know that his siren is less than impressive as it bleeps once and then stops. However, for the Takara Tomy release, the siren was fixed so that the bleep now repeats to form an actual siren! So for fans looking into the USA Edition of this figure, you may have another tally on your "pro" side.
Click here to see a video of the different sirens, and discuss this discovery! |

Whether it's due to a lack of advertisement, a television show that is on a subscription only channel, or just general apathy towards the line, it seems as though the Transformers Animated toy line is sputtering in the UK. According to Red leader over at the 2005 boards, suppliers are warning against putting up pre-orders for wave 4.5 (Swoop, Sentinel and Elite Guard Bumblebee), because there is a good chance that the line will be canceled before the wave will be released. Sad news for Animated fans across the pond.

Coming out on January 6th, the same day that Season 2 is scheduled for release, will be a Transformers Animated "Transform and Rollout" and Season 1 DVD duo pack. These will likely be the same as the previous releases, just bundled together as one package. There's no word yet on price, but fans that were upset that these DVDs were released separately originally may be pleased to see them in one set!

Time to "Get to Know Your Trans-Artist"! Of sorts. synapse of the Transformers Hispanos boards has interviewed artist Nick Roche, who has worked on Spotlights Shockwave, Kup, Hardhead, and Hot Rod; an issue of Devastation; to-be released Maxium Dinobots; and various other pieces. Questions ranged from the usual what a TF artist does, a look into his mind, and how he deals with being a TF collector while having a significant other.
Check out the Spanish version here or the English version of the interview here at synapse' DeviantART. |

When the announcement for DreamWorks being it's own company on splitting from Paramount came, many fans questioned whether if director/producer Steven Spielberg (who created DreamWorks with two other partners nearly 15 years ago) would leave the production of Revenge of the Fallen. Well, while DW has more or less finally partnered with India's Reliance, Spielberg will continue as producer for Revenge as reported by Nikki Finke's Hollywood Deadline Daily in a press release.
The majority of existing DreamWorks staff is expected to be offered positions at [Reliance]. All other projects currently in development will remain at Paramount with the opportunity for the Reliance-backed venture to co-finance several projects to which Mr. Spielberg is attached. In addition, Mr. Spielberg will continue to produce the Transformers franchise for Paramount and will also collaborate on three other Paramount films including, "When Worlds Collide."
So fans can relax on Revenge's status, and read here for the original news and press release. |
