Last night the NBA Finals Game 3 revealed a new Transformers: The Movie TV spot.  It's mostly more of the same, with some new extra-generic dialog from the president and, maybe the coolest thing, a completely new shot of Blackout transforming.

Recently numerous people attended the premiere of Transformers: The Movie in Australia and reactions and reviews are starting to trickle onto the Internet.  Master Fwiffo has posted two threads for discussion, one with and one without spoilers!  The NON-spoiler thread, which includes reactions of members of the Don Murphy board, is located here, and a more spoilery thread is available here!

Automotive enthusiast web site Edmunds Inside Line has posted two articles about the real-world cars used as the old-n-busted and new-hotness Transformers: The Movie Bumblebee.

Inbetween all the car-porn under-the-hood photos and technical information, we get some fun factoids about the cars used in the flick. For instance, the 1976 Camaro was chosen specifically because it was the "worst year possible," and each old car was purchased via online listings for less than $6,000. And the 2009 model is practically a real working car, complete with air conditioning.

Peter Cullen just can't stop talking about Transformers: The Movie. We're pretty sure Paramount's promotions department is holding his cowboy hat at gunpoint until he sits down with every single movie-related website on the planet.

Gamespot recently had a chance to sit down and mash some buttons on the various Transformers: The Movie tie-in video games, and they've got a write-up on their site. They provide some new details of some of the bonus unlockable content that will be included, plus differences between the myriad versions. The biggest news is that bonus non-movie missions will be available, featuring G1 characters such as Shockwave!

Transformers: The Game comes out June 26th for PC, PS3, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, and PSP, with Transformers: Autobots and Transformers: Decepticons hitting the Nintendo DS one week earlier. Click here to read the full preview at Gamespot, and discuss in Prime 2.0's thread.
