Scans Of Upcoming TakaraTomy Figures Did the listings of a black Arcee and Trans-Scanning figures interest you? Well, now you can get a glimpse at what these figures look like! TFW2005 has posted scans of the figures, or concept art in the case of the Trans-Scanning toys. It looks as though the Trans-Scanning figures are skeletal representations of the characters that then get additional vehicle-parts armor, and the Arcee black version appears to be modeled on the motorcycle that Lennox used in the movie to get closer to Blackout!

Click here to see the original post, and here to discuss the images on the Allspark.

We've also mirrored the images here

iF Magazine Mark Ryan Interview Part 2 iF Magazine has posted the second part of their interview with Mark Ryan, who provided the voice for Bumblebee in the Transformers: The Movie. But did he know that? He reveals that he had originally been hired just to do fill-in voices while the movie was still filming, and he had no expectations of being in the final piece. While recording several lines, he performed a couple of hand-written lines for Bumblebee that Michael Bay had handed him. These lines would then eventually find themselves into the final cut!

Also included in the interview is a look at some of his other work, including Evita and Robin of Sherwood.

You can see part two of the interview here

Blockbuster MP3 Player w/ DVD PurchaseFor anyone who is keeping track of the promotional materials that were available today with purchase of the new DVD, you know that Blockbuster had a limited supply of MP3 players free with purchase of the DVD.  Although these weren't as limited as the Best Buy exclusive metallic Voyager size movie toys, they nonetheless disappeared quickly.  The packaging was done up very nicely in the standard Megs vs. Optimus faceoff style, and in fact it would not have looked out of place had this been offered for sale in normal retail.  You can see images of this our Image Gallery, including front and back of the packaging, the inside of the package, and two more images.  We've also posted a review of the player in our forums along with the images from the gallery!

Bumblebee In West Hollywood Well, West Hollywood at least. From now through Sunday, an actual full-size Bumblebee robot prop from the movie will be standing guard over the West Hollywood Gateway. The shopping center is located on the corner of La Brea and Santa Monica Boulevard, and Bumblebee stands proudly in front of the courtyard, ready to distract the already easily distracted Los Angeles drivers. Plus, after gawking at the big yellow guy for a while, you can head into the attached Target or Best Buy and pick up your own copy of the new DVD. SuperHeroFlix has the press release.

The Allspark was there bright and early this morning to snap some photos, and you can check them all out in our gallery. Discuss in this thread.
