IDW Publishing head huncho Chris Ryall has posted one page previews for Transformers: Devastation number 3, 4 and 5 in the IDW forums. Issue three will be drawn by Nick Roche, issue 4 by Rob Musso and EJ Su will return to draw issue 5.

Joining the heads of Optimus, Ultra Magnus and Rodimus will be the head of the maniacal  Decepticon leader, Galvatron. Diamond Toys Select has announced that this new Head bust will be released in April of next year and will be limited to 1000 pieces.

Can't find Transformers: The Movie Legends Class Starscream or Blackout? Then head on over to your Target! Each year, Target puts up a selection of Stocking Stuffer toys in their Holiday section, and this year those toys include Transformers! Legends Starscream, Blackout, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ratchet and Jazz have all been sighted waiting to be bought and shoved into a big, red sock and hung above the fireplace.

When word of the agreement between GM and the minds behind the Transformers: The Movie reached the fandom, there was initially some hostility towards the marketing scheme. However, according to new market research and the Hollywood Reporter, such feelings were apparently short lived. The data suggest high numbers of participants (92% in the case of Bumblebee) agreed that the GM vehicles matched the Transformers' characters.

Also revealed was that the Transformers themselves ranked higher in appeal to the human characters! Bumblebee came out the winner here with 94%, and Prime followed with 91%. Sam and Mikaela came in with 83% and 82%, respectively.

Lastly, the research also shows that opinions of GMs vehicles rose due to the movie. The Pontiac Solstice rose 144%, while the Camaro rose 72% and the H2 and Topkick increased by over 65%. These numbers, however could not be proven in actual sales or Web traffic.

Straight from the writer's mouth! Simon Furmon has made two new entries on his blog. The first discusses the new issue of UK's Transformers: The Movie Magazine #5. And the second a new (pocket) guide to the Transformers movie.

The Magazine tells a new, strange tale of Ironhide and his search for the rest of the Autobots. Let's just say it ties into that narration by Optimus in the beginning of the movie, the one that says that the Allspark originally came from...elsewhere. 

The guide will offer 192 pages packed full of information on all things Transformer movie; characters, objects, plot, what-have-you. The retail price for this guide is set for £4.99/$9.95!

I Have the AllSpark Power!!  The newest assortment of Transformers: The Movie figures, now with the subheading "Allspark Power" are just hitting stores in Australia.  TFW2005 use Fit For Natalie found not only the Allspark Power Deluxes but the Allspark Battle 2 Packs (which feature 2 Legend-sized figures).  It will now only be a matter of time before we can expect these figures to start hitting other areas of the world.

Target will apparently be offering another Transformers: The Movie exclusive. This one a "Deep Space" recolor of the Movie Starscream mold.
