Taking the children was a bad idea! A user at TFG2.com has posted some more images of the upcoming Transformers: The Movie Allspark Power Stockade figure. The mini-gallery does a fair job at showing the figure off at different angles, so you can get a pretty good look at the toy.
You can see the images here . Thanks to TFW2005 for the link. |

We reported last week that the Transformers: The Movie was next on the list to be mocked via a RiffTrax by the former Mystery Science Theater 3000 crew, and today the commentary track is finally available for purchase.
To hear Michael "Mike" Nelson, Kevin "Tom Servo" Murphy, and Bill "Crow" Corbett reduce some giant robots to whimpering shards of tinfoil, just click over to RiffTrax.com and drop $3.99 on the download. Then, follow the instructions to synchronize the audio track with your DVD, and enjoy. Thanks to Internet Jesus for the update. Discussion continues in FortMax's thread. |

Simon Furman has created a new blog entry giving a run-down of the plot for IDW's Transformers Devastation #6 comic book. This arc-ending issue certainly brings things to a head (no pun intended), as the various stories all come together. Expect to see favorites and first appearances, and confrontations aplenty! This issue is due out February 2008.
You can see the tease here, but it may be too spoiler-ish for some. |

Major media outlets including Reuters are reporting on a list of this holiday season's "Hot Toys," as determined by the National Retail Federation. The NRF commissions the annual survey, collecting data from retailers nationwide to find out what toys they expect to be on most kids' wish lists. Over the past five years, the top spot for boys has been held by Playstation, Cars/Trucks, Video Games, Video Games (again), and Tickle Me Elmo. This year, they've all been crushed under the weight of Giant &@$!ing Robots, as Transformers sits at #1.
View the full list at the NRF web site, or read some analysis from Reuters. |
