To fans who are wanting to know a little more about one of the first comic-created Transformers in IDW's Transformers universe, patience will reward you with Drift starring in his own Spotlight come April 2009! Courtesy of editor-in-chief Chris Ryall's blog: Shane McCarthy, creator of said Autobot and writer of "All Hail Megatron", will be manning the words, while Casey Coller will be handling lines. Coller and Joana LaFuente has also provided a cover of the "Japanese-y" Autobot.
Check it out at Ryall's blog entry!

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole. These are some of those stories. This is: Transformers: Mosaic.
12/8/08 Mosaic: Sunstreaker's Day Off would've been a lot more productive if not for Sideswipe. |

Forget those milk buckets, get those 8 maids to fetch the helmets and survival kits! Snarl is cutting it loose and it looks like Rumble's going to have competition if seismologists and geologists ever ask them for a little help.

A photo of a counterfeit G1 Prowl recently showed up on a Japanese auction site. This is from Zhong Jin, the same counterfeiter that also made Wheeljack and Mirage. Obvious differences include no pre-applied "POLICE" sticker on the door, brighter grid lines, and the sun burst being too bright, making the grid lines near the artwork hard to see. A more complete ID guide for this counterfeit can be viewed here.
Vintage collectors, beware!!! |

The Transformers Collectors' Club updated their website with the news chapter in the Shattered Glass Universe - Dungeons & Dinobots! This is a prose story in the same style of I, Low Tech and Withered Hope. So for those fans who are members of the official fan club, head on over to the club's members' only area to read what the Heroic Decepticons and the Evil Autobots are up to.
You can discuss the news in Walky's thread in our forums. |
