The Allspark Thanks You! And Announces Allspark-Powered Charity Drive PDF Print E-mail

*UPDATE #2* Thanks to the over-whelming response we received for the Toy Fair 1986 Catalog auction, our fund drive has morphed into something else entirely! We're turning this into an all-out Allspark-powered charity drive! Click here to read the full details on this new charity drive for Hasbro Children's Hospital!

*Update* Thanks to the contributions of 43 members of our community since this morning, including a very generous contribution by our own Jim Sorenson, we had our first offer accepted for this rare piece of toy collecting history. This is a remarkable achievement and an amazing - and quick! - level of cooperation by everyone in our community. Give yourselves all a round of applause and start your drooling for when the scans for this are made and released in a few weeks!

For those that may have missed it, a copy of a 1986 pre-Toy Fair catalog from Hasbro has appeared on eBay. Why is this important you ask? The catalog was put together before final coloration and tooling was decided upon for many of the figures in the images. Things like over-saturated Onslaught, blue-armor Superion, and bloated rifle Galvatron are only the tip of the iceberg!

You can discuss the catalog or the donations here!

That had better be one sharp knife! The next issue of Titan's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen magazine is slated for release this Thursday! This installment features a comic all about Optimus losing his head! Or actually, trying not to...

Check out the latest issue of Transformers Comic for action-packed features, games, puzzles, competitions and lots more! Issue 2.10 also includes 'Bring me the head of Optimus Prime', a fantastic 8-page comic story written by Robin Etherington and featuring art from Jon Davis-Hunt. Find out more on the story from the synopsis below and check out the sneak peeks attached!

Bring me the Head of Optimus Prime!
Deep in the heart of Montana, in a wild forest region, a private militia force has executed a daring plan – the capture and imprisonment of Optimus Prime.  They are led by Tyler ‘Trophy’ White, a dangerous hunter with a passion for killing, stuffing and mounting rare animals and now obsessed with adding a Cybertronian skull to his macabre collection. Under his orders a small commando group launched an attack upon the Malmstrom Air Force Base, near Montana Falls, in order to acquire an NNEMP (non-nuclear electromagnetic bomb). The attack was made to look like the work of the Decepticons and enough damage was caused to attract the attention of the Autobots and roll his plan into action!
