Beast Wars Cheetor Are you a fan of spotted yellow Maximals? How about talking defense systems? If yes, then Auto Assembly 2009 may just be the place for you! Ian James Corlett, who provided the voices for Beast Wars and Beast Machines Cheetor as well as the Sentinel program in Beast Wars, was recently confirmed as the first of the voice actors that will be attending the 2-day UK convention. Auto Assembly 2009 will be held August 15-16th in Birmingham City Centre, England.

Henkei Dinobot and Hot RodAnd "Hot Rod" as in the Japanese name of Armada Hot Shot, for those that forgot. Japanese online retailer Amiami.com has several photos of other covered Henkei releases, such as Hound, Cyclonus, and Inferno, but they have the currently clearest photos of Henkei Dinobot and Hot Rod, in case those missed Hot Rod's photos.

Kinnerton logoTomy1381 of Seibertron has posted that Australia-based Kinnerton Confectionery is sharing several non-toy G1 Transformers items that may show up at Target and K-Mart, possibly to promote the 25th Anniversary.

G1 Pencil Case

Certainly not the usual fare, but collectors who go for other merchandise may be interested, and these may also be limited to only overseas distribution.

RUMOR: Extended Edition "Transformers" on Blu-ray? PDF Print E-mail

Extended edition?!Michael Bay said little possibility on an extended version of Transformers on DVD/Blu-ray when the film was released for home entertainment, but now there's a rumor that Paramount is saying yes. From the Digital Bits, they're "hearing that a Transformers: Extended Edition is planned for DVD and Blu-ray release in 2009, likely timed to coincide with the theatrical release of Bay's sequel film next summer."

Universe SuperionA few weeks back we first started to see images of an upcoming as of yet unannounced Universe redeco of the Energon Bruticus Maximus & Superion Maximus as their G1 counterparts.  What kind of release these figures would see was up in the air, until now.  New images from TFW2005 reveal that they are in fact Target Exclusives.  The images also give us a better look at the Superion components.

Oh really?Peter Sciretta of faelarwen.blogspot.com claims to confirm several information that's old (who the Centennial Corvette transforms into), and other take-with-grain-of-salt bits that still begs a lot of questions, despite the information coming from Hasbro's licensing Summit at Malaysia two months ago.

TargetFor those that missed the Target book in their 11/09/08 Sunday paper, Allspark Fortress Ironhold has provided the online version for those looking to find better deals on Animated figures. On page 23, Voyagers are looking to go for $20 while Leaders are going for $30 (and that Grimlock seems to have a transforming cog malfunction).
