Tomy1381 of Seibertron has posted that Australia-based Kinnerton Confectionery is sharing several non-toy G1 Transformers items that may show up at Target and K-Mart, possibly to promote the 25th Anniversary.

Michael Bay said little possibility on an extended version of Transformers on DVD/Blu-ray when the film was released for home entertainment, but now there's a rumor that Paramount is saying yes. From the Digital Bits, they're "hearing that a Transformers: Extended Edition is planned for DVD and Blu-ray release in 2009, likely timed to coincide with the theatrical release of Bay's sequel film next summer."
