Amazon.co.jp has posted prototype images of the upcoming Alternity Megatron figure by Takara Tomy. Previously, the only images of the toy were either silhouettes or design sketches, these give us our first look at the toy itself! The transformation is similar to the Alternity Convoy figure, but with two noticeable differences; swords! So it seems like Animated and UT Megatrons won't be the only Megatrons with a fascination for blade weapons!

The mysteries of the upcoming Leo Prime have now been revealed! At least, what character the toy is meant to represent anyway. Yizhi521 of TF08.net has posted new images of the box, including a look at the bio. Like the Legends Class figure, this Leo Prime too is meant to be the Lio Convoy character from Beast Wars II in Japan!

Leo Prime is a career soldier, commander of an elite Maximal black ops unit designated The Pack. So secret is his unit, even most of those in the Maximal command structure are aware of it as a rumor. Leo Prime and his comrades in the Pack travel wherever trouble is the thickest, often working undercover to deal crippling blows to Predacon plots.

Walmart.com has been updated with new images for a couple of upcoming Transformers Animated Bumper Battler toys; Workzone Bulkhead and Stealth Ninja Jazz! Workzone Bulkhead is a more yellow-ish shade of green with a metallic purple bumper, and a logo on the side of the truck mode that reads "Bots At Work". Stealth Ninja Jazz is so stealthy that he seemingly eluded his new name and went with a bright silver deco accompanied with even brighter colors for his detailing. Expect these figures to show up on shelves after the wave with Lockdown and Soundwave. Click the links below to see the images:

The wait is over--Transformers: The Stargate Battles, Part 2 of 4 is now up on TF Pulp.  The Stargate Battles is a Transformers manga set around season 2 of G1, but it goes beyond the usual kid-oriented stories to give us a look at public reaction to the Transformers, the Autobots' cooperation with the US government, and how the world responds to this alliance.  It was published in 2003, and although it was cut short at four issues, it remains one of the high points of Japanese Transformers manga.
